San Diego Small Business 2012 'Man of Valor' Award:

Small business is tough. Failure greatly discourages men from trying again - and yet, 79% of all new jobs come from the solo-entrepreneur as a personal enterprise with no employees, or a micro-enterprise with less than five employees.

There's ~207k men with small businesses in San Diego County, and ~30k men in the San Diego area are struggling to stay in business with little reward or recognition. You can nominate several of them and make a big difference.
