In spite of having a thriving cosmetic surgery practice in Beverly Hills, Dr. Rogers regularly sacrifices performing high-paying cosmetic procedures to help people in need of lower-paying reconstructive procedures. He's one of the few plastic surgeons in the nation to master the DIEP Flap procedure for breast reconstruction, which is the most advanced procedure available today to provide breast cancer patients with the most natural looking and feeling results comparable to their original breasts. He also spends 1-2 weeks every year in Guatemala performing pro-bono reconstructive surgery procedures on multiple adults and children with deformities. Here in the U.S., he performs a minimum of one pro-bono reconstructive procedure every year to a person in need, most recently reconstructing an ear for a little girl who was born without it and wrote to Santa asking for one.
