View the small business statistics
Small business is tough. Failure greatly discourages men from trying again - and yet, 79% of all new jobs come from the solo-entrepreneur as a personal enterprise with no employees, or a micro-enterprise with less than five employees.
There's ~56,000 men in business in Fort Worth, and more than 8,000 are struggling to stay in business with little reward or recognition. You can nominate several of them and make a big difference. Imagine if they simply grew to hire a single employee? That would be 8k new jobs in Fort Worth!
The MENtrepreneurs™ Valor awards recognize the character, passion and sacrifice of champion men of small entrepreneurial businesses and social enterprises. Think of it like 'Main Street Accolades' or 'Honorary War Ribbons' for small business owners. Get your community to ‘champion’ for your man-in-business!
Nominate, recognize and greatly encourage a personal or micro-enterprising man of valor in your community for his faithful, courageous and generous sacrifices. Share his overcoming story below. Get your friends and family to leave comments and ‘vote’ for him. Make a huge difference for him, his family and your community!
