Two points: 1) DON'T GO IT ALONE - get a peer group established. 2) DON'T DO IT ALONE - build a system that profits from the success of others - and invest in that system until you've taught a bunch of others to do the same.

Some blatant self-promotion is in order. You’ll deeply appreciate the benefits of surrounding yourself with a group of understanding peers. The first MENtrepreneurs small groups in Texas are forming in Dallas/Ft. Worth, Austin and Houston, facilitated by the Founder, Daniel Comp.

I learned something about Mark Anthony online that I didn’t face-to-face in a weekly class we have together. He served in Vietnam in 1966-67, in the 4th Infantry, recon in the Iron Triangle for 9 months and 6 months as a helicopter door gunner. He received 3 purple hearts. What?

Denny Ross, Mayor of the City of Maupin listened with enthusiasm as we shared the ‘reality’ of the MENtrepreneurs entrepreneurship system and the Enterprising Cycle. He and I had a couple hours ‘dreaming’ about such a tool a few years ago, and he’s very pleased at the implications, reality and applications for rural communities.
